# MDS Dark Theme — Releases Source: repository **mds-dark** (`/srv/git/mds-dark.git` on dmz-web). Full per-version change log: source:mds-dark/VERSION.txt. They do **not** contain 1.9.0–1.13.0. Never released. ## Release procedure All commands run as **root** on dmz-web, inside `/root/mds-dark`. 1. Make the change. Bump the version in `mds-dark/style.css` (`Version:`) and `mds-dark/functions.php` (`MDS_THEME_VERSION`), and add an entry at the top of `mds-dark/VERSION.txt`. 2. Stamp the version on the theme screenshot: ``` cd mds-dark && python3 inc/tools/stamp-screenshot-version.py X.Y.Z && cd .. ``` 3. Commit, tag, push. Reference the release issue in the commit message: ``` git commit -am "MDS Dark X.Y.Z: <summary> refs #<issue>" git tag -a vX.Y.Z -m "MDS Dark X.Y.Z" git push --follow-tags ``` 4. Build the installable package from the tag: ``` git archive -o /root/mds-dark-X.Y.Z.zip vX.Y.Z mds-dark ``` 5. Upload the zip to **Files** (and attach it to the release issue).
